The smart ARTS Festival is an all new festival for
young people. Smart Arts is an arts and cultural
festival incorporating a launch party, art exhibition,
careers forum & creative arts workshops.

Glebe Record Fair

With over 100 stalls including representatives from
some of Australia’s leading independent Record stores
this is an event not to be missed. 1000’s of records
from all genres including Punk, Jazz, Newwave,
Prog, Psyche, Hard Rock, Punk, dance and everything inbetween.

April 9th Saturday 9 am – 4 pm at the Peter Forsyth Auditorium (opposite Glebe Markets)

Eco Chic Fashion Pop-Up

 A niche group of Novocastrian fashion designers are
taking ‘reduce, reuse, recycle’ to the next level
demonstrating how one can creatively fashion
something from nothing.

April 10th Sunday 5 pm – 8 pm at the Foghorn Brewhouse (218 King Street, Newcastle)

ALMU Vegan Bake Sale

The Animal Liberation club are raising money for Animal Liberation NSW with a classic vegan bake sale by gold coin donation. If you can bake, they ask if you can contribute, if not spare some gold coins on delicious vegan treats.

David Bowie Tribute – Strung out in Heavens High

Even though this is happening next week you may want to purchase your tickets now. The Newtown Social Club will host a huge sad farewell, but also a celebration of the life and music of David Bowie. This special matinee show will feature many fine local Sydney acts, who will all play their favourite David Bowie songs.
