No Mo’ Hair raises over $10,000 [NSFW]

A group of nine Macquarie University students have banded together to raise money for The World’s Greatest Shave.

Together the students have managed to break the $10,000 mark for their hardwork being shaven, shorn …and waxed.

In what can only be described as terrifyingly entertaining, the students underwent hair dying and hair removal treatments all in the name of charity.

The participants were:

  • James Cant: shaved his aesthetic head. Bachelor of Medical Science, 3rd year.
  • Alexander Hughes: painfully waxed his legs. Bachelor of Arts (Psychology) with a Bachelor of Laws, 3rd year.
  • Rebecca Ciclovan: dyed her hair fire red. Bachelor of Arts / Diploma of Education (Ancient History Major), 2nd year.
  • Satyajeet Marar: waxed his animal-like chest. Bachelor of Arts (Writing Major) with a Bachelor of Laws, 4th year.
  • Emily McIntyre: shaved her head. Bachelor of Arts / Bachelor of Education (primary), 3rd year.
  • Andrew Burton: shaved his head. Bachelor of Arts (Psychology), 3rd year.
  • Edwin Nelson: shaved his lumberjack beard. Bachelor of Arts with a Bachelor of Laws, “final year”.
  • Nicolas O’Sullivan: waxed his chest. Degree pending.
  • Morgan Foulsham: shaved his beloved curly moustache and beard. Bachelor of Media with a Bachelor of Laws, 3rd year.
