Eid al-Fitr 2013

We today present to you the Malaysian Student Association (MSA). The MSA is an organisation that provides a myriad of services and social activities for all of its members.
Throughout the year, members are given the opportunity to get involved in social, sporting and cultural events. From barbecues to dance parties, inter-university sporting carnivals to relaxing by the university lake, MSA does it all. The organisation also wishes to work closely with its members to create a memorable experience for Malaysian students studying in Sydney. It doesn’t stop there though! MSA welcomes all those who wish to immerse themselves in the cultural offerings of Malaysia, regardless of background.
The MSA committee looks forward to working with and serving its members here at Macquarie University.
MSA will be hosting Eid al-Fitr 2013 at the Macquarie University Atrium, right beside our picturesque lake! The congregation will be celebrating the Hari Raya Aidilfitri, an occasion commonly celebrated by Muslims in Malaysia. The MSA will be serving some traditional Malaysian delights including ketupat, chicken rendang, chicken curry noodles as well as some special desserts. Make sure not to miss out on the great food on offer!
The details of the event are as follows:
Time: 11am – 2pm
Date: Saturday 17 August 2013
