Just like actual conception, Conception Day at Macquarie University is a sacred event.
Now in its 43rd year, you may wonder how this day can get any better. Well Macquarie University have obviously responded to the gauntlet.
With a mind-boggling thirteen feature acts including British India, Horrorshow and Van She, just to name a few, Conception Day 2012, will be bigger and better than ever before!
And for the hard-stylers and dance music aficionados fist-pumping for their right to be heard, 2012 is your time to rejoice, with more dance acts spread across the various stages.
“The most popular general request was for more Dance music, hence why we added a number of Australia’s best dance acts and spread them across the entire site so that there is something for everyone throughout the whole day.
This has not previously been done and hopefully it shows that there are a wider variety of genres represented” said Campus Life Marketing Co-ordinator, Steven Blakers.
The likes of Bad Ezzy and Muscles will appear on the Ice Break Main Stage while Purple Sneaker DJs, Feenixpawl and Beni will keep the party rolling in UBar.
In addition to the ensuing musical orgasm, there will also be more amusements, food options and promotional sampling.
So, if you have not yet bought your ticket…buy one!
